ASHLEIGH: They have our tickets.
MR. CHASE: Oh, I see.
ASHLIEGH: I still don’t quite understand why you can’t come with us. We’re going to Japan.
MR. CHASE: Sweet heart, we’ve been over this: I have to take care of your cousins Tristan and Caleb. They’re not 18 years of age like you are.
ASHLEIGH: Oh, I forgot. Where I’ve been preoccupied with saying goodbye and all, I forgot their parents died in a car accident two years ago.
MR. CHASE: It’s okay. We’re trying to forget those losses, like your mother’s death.
ASHLIEGH: She died when I was young, right?
MR. CHASE: Yeah. I was heartbroken when she died. She was beautiful, and you know what...
ASHLEIGH: What?
MR. CHASE: She reminds me of you.
ASHLEIGH: Okay. I just wish I could remember her.
MR. CHASE: It’s okay Ashleigh. It’s okay.
They hug. A little boy, eight years of age arrives in the living room. He has sandy brown hair and hazel green eyes and adorable in appearance.

As if on cue, Ashleigh’s cell phone goes off. She answers her phone.
ASHLEIGH: Hello? Hey Amanda. Uh huh. Yeah. Okay, we’re on our way.
Ashleigh hangs up.
ASHLIEGH: Well, they’re now ready to go as well.
DAVID: So are we.
CALEB: It’s too bad my brother’s not here with us. He’s at camp.

DAVID: Don’t be so sure. I’m gonna get some pizza for your brother so he won’t be as left out. You know how he gets.
CALEB: Aw, man!
ASHLEIGH: You’ll be okay. How would you feel if you were gone to camp and Tristian went to Chucky Cheese House? Hmmm?

ASHLEIGH: Well then, you get my point.
DAVID: She’s right.

DAVID: Yeah. I’m sure. I have to watch over Tristian and Caleb.
ALANA: Understandable. Well, we gotta catch the plane by five o clock.
