ACT ONE OF TWO
FADE INTO: EXT. DYNASTY – NIGHT
We see the outside view of the evil Dynasty. It has become dark by the night time view.
CUT TO: INT. DYNASTY CASTLE – DYNASTY – NIGHT
Talpa appears in front of Dais and Cale as the evil master is laughing evilly.
TALPA: This is far pleasant than what I have seen in the past year. Sekhmet has separated Ryo of the Wildfire from the other Ronin Warriors making it less likely for them to come together when the sixth Ronin Warrior is awakened.
DAIS: What are you saying, master?
CALE: You’re saying we’ve won?
TALPA: I cannot say that yet. Sekhmet must kill them to fulfill our plan, then we can declare ourselves the victor. But first we also have to keep the newest Ronin Warrior from becoming activated.
FADE INTO: INT. DANCE CLUB – TOKYO – NIGHT
Music playing in the background: “How You Remind Me” by Nickelback. Ashleigh, Amanda and Alana are dancing to the song along with everyone else in the bar.
AMANDA: I didn’t know they had a dance club here.
ASHLEIGH: Neither did I.
ALANA: This must be Tokyo’s only dance club.
ASHLEIGH: Probably so.
AMANDA: Reminds you of anything familiar?
ALANA: Like our dance clubs at home?
ASHLIEGH: I guess.
ALANA: Then I guess so too.
Ashleigh sees a light from a nearby window. She appears to be a bit startled.
ASHLEIGH: What was that?
AMANDA: What was what?
ALANA: We didn’t see anything.
Ashleigh looks to see that the light has vanished.
ASHLEIGH: Oh, it’s probably nothing. Let’s continue dancing.
AMANDA: Yes. Let’s continue.
FADE INTO: EXT. STREETS – TOKYO – NIGHT
Ashleigh, Amanda and Alana are walking down the streets. They seem to be enjoying the night time view.
AMANDA: Isn’t this amazing?
ALANA: Yeah, it is.
ASHLEIGH: I say so myself.
ALANA: Better than what the brochure told us Japan would be like.
ASHLEIGH: Of course.
AMANDA: Well, so far so good.
ALANA: I can agree on that.
ASHLEIGH: Ditto.
AMANDA: And it makes the first time any of us went aboard from the United States.
ASHLEIGH: Ever.
ALANA: Do you think we’ll be able to meet anyone from the area?
AMANDA: Possibly.
ASHLEIGH: It is a big city. It’s very, very likely we’ll be able to meet other people here. There can’t be any promises though.
AMANDA: She’s right.
BEAT.
ALANA: Well, what can we do now? It’s getting real dark and things can get spooky.
ASHLEIGH: Are you chicken when it comes to the dark?
ALANA: No I am only saying that. Of course I am! Now can we go in?
AMANDA: You can, but Ash and I are gonna explore the town.
ASHLEIGH: There’s a hotel nearby. We can check it out and spend the night there.
ALANA: Good idea.
AMANDA: Okay.
Just then, the girls hear a loud bang from a distance followed by a scream.
ALANA: Oh no.
AMANDA: Something’s wrong.
ASHLEIGH: We better check it out.
CUT TO: EXT. ALLEYWAY – TOKYO – NIGHT
Ryo is slammed all the way to a wall of an alley, now injured. He looks up and appears to be thinking.
RYO: Good thing I could make an escape before Sekhmet and those creeps could take me to the Dynasty. Fat chance of that happening.
A Dynasty goon appears to Ryo and walks close enough to where he can grab the leader by the throat.
GOON: Now that we’ve found you, Ryo of the Wildfire, you will tell us what we need to know.
RYO: [choked] And what would....that be?
GOON: You will tell us where the new armor is located at.
RYO: New armor? I have no idea what you’re talking about. There’s only nine armors. There’s no –
GOON: You’re lying!
He slams Ryo onto a wall again.
RYO: Even if there was such thing, [looks up] you’d never get anything from me.
GOON: You were lucky to make your escape once, but this time you won’t be as lucky.
He raises his blade towards Ryo, preparing to kill him.
GOON: Now –
SEKHMET [O/S]: Enough!
Sekhmet arrives approaching the goon and an injured Ryo.
SEKHMET: I didn’t bring you to kill him. That’s my job.
The warlord approaches the Ronin leader. He grabs him by the throat, just like the goon did.
SEKHMET [CONT’D]: And it will be my pleasure.
Just then, Ashleigh, Amanda and Alana arrive and they see what is happening.
AMANDA: He’s gonna kill the helpless guy.
ASHLEIGH: Girls! Let’s get him!
Amanda and Alana launch for the warlord and Ashleigh is not too far behind them. She helps up Ryo.
ASHLEIGH: Are you okay?
RYO: Yeah. I think so. Thanks.
ASHLEIGH: My friends are taking care of those two.
RYO: Huh?
ASHLEIGH: That psycho path and his goon.
RYO: Oh, uh –
They look to see Amanda and Alana driving the goons out of the alley way. Then they look at Sekhmet.
ALANA: Now for you.
SEKHMET: We’ll see about that girl. SNAKE FANG STRIKE!
Both Amanda and Alana dodge the attack before it can hit them. The attack lands on the wall.
ALANA: Whoa, he is really strong.
SEKHMET: I missed! No matter, I can still take you on!
ASHLEIGH: Not if I have a say.
She kicks the warlord in the back. He turns in fury to now see four against one.
SEKHMET: This is a minor problem nonetheless. Very well, I’ll leave for now, but all of you can count on me to return to destroy you all.
The warlord leaves the alleyway as Ashleigh and Amanda help up Ryo.
AMANDA: Are you ok sir?
RYO: Yeah. If you three hadn’t shown up, that creep would’ve killed me right on the spot.
ASHLEIGH: Has he been like this?
RYO: For a long time, then my friends and I thought he and his friends turned good, but we were proved wrong today.
AMANDA: What a story.
Alana clears her throat. Amanda and Ashleigh look at her and then back at Ryo.
ASHLEIGH: Oh, sorry for the rudeness. My name is Ashleigh.
AMANDA: I’m Amanda.
ALANA: And Alana, that’s my name.
RYO: Nice to meet you girls. You can call me Ryo.
ASHLEIGH: Ryo. Nice to meet you. Where exactly do you live?
RYO: In Toyama, not too far from Tokyo. I was separated from my friends by that creep you attacked.
ALANA: That creep separated you from your friends?
RYO: Yeah.
AMANDA: That is so mean.
ASHLEIGH: Well, we got to get you back to your friends.
AMANDA: Sounds like a plan.
ALANA: There goes my staying in the hotel plan. I’m in, I guess.
ASHLEIGH: Me too!
AMANDA: And me.
RYO: Okay. We can go find the others.
Just then, a mysterious wind makes a piece of paper float into the air. Ryo catches it in his hand.
RYO: Litterbug. Even you find them here.
ALANA: You find them everywhere, what do you think?
Amanda and Ashleigh nod in agreement as Ryo reads what’s on the paper.
RYO: Huh?
ASHLEIGH: What is it?
RYO: It’s something for me.
AMANDA: What does it say?
RYO: It says: Ryo Sanada, meet me at the old abandoned school house as soon as you read this letter, we will meet you there. – A friend.
AMANDA: Your last name’s Sanada?
ALANA: This could mean…it’s a trap.
RYO: What do you mean?
ALANA: It could be that creep who attacked you. He could return at that school house the letter speaks of and he could kill you.
AMANDA: My sis is very paranoid.
ASHLEIGH: She could be right though.
RYO: Point taken.
ASHLEIGH: I’ll go with you.
AMANDA: That makes me feel a little better.
ALANA: But you’ll be with a guy we hardly know!
RYO: Relax, would you? It’d be very likely she’ll be out of this in one piece than me.
ALANA: Oh really?
RYO: Yeah.
ASHLEIGH: Before we go, I’d like to know something.
RYO: What would that be?
ASHLEIGH: What are your friends like?
RYO: I can tell you that as we are walking to the old school place.
ASHLEIGH: That sounds like a plan.
AMANDA: I agree.
ALANA: Me too.
RYO: Okay then.
He smiles.

And this is how, you remind me
Of what I really am
This is how, you remind me
Of what I really am
It's not like you to say sorry
I was waiting on a different story
This time I'm mistaken
for handing you a heart worth breaking
and I've been wrong, i've been down,
been to the bottom of every bottle
these five words in my head
scream "are we having fun yet?"
yet, yet, yet, no, no
yet, yet, yet, no, no
yet, yet, yet, no, no
yet, yet, yet, no, no
Of what I really am
This is how, you remind me
